Where can I get a Scrabble board?

edit: went to the toy store, all they had was Super Scrabble for $30. Fuck that noise. Going to Target I guess.

I have one. I bought mine at the Target in Northgate. It was the only place I could find one at 10p when I bought it. I wasn't able to get the really cool edition with the inset trays for the letters, though. I got an edition which comes in this sexy wooden box but which is not very practical because it's too tightly packed (I recommend against this version).

Or you can go to Vivace and steel their Scrabble board.

We should totally start a recurring game night. OR specifically a Scrabble night because that's the ONLY game. Besides Risk. I like Risk. I like to think I like Candyland, but I don't actually. It's stupid. And the new illustrations on it have the gay. But really: I vote for a game night.

(Which I'd gladly host if I thought people were willing to head out to Bothell on a regular basis).

I have the one with the inset trays for letters....aww jeah. I wouldn't have it any other way...mostly because I Scrabble drunk and it's so damn hard to keep the letters in place when you can't see straight.

Target has not only regular Scrabble, but quirkily designed versions, too. I think I have an extra set of regular scrabble (doesn't everyone have more than one?) I can send you if you need one. (Or, if you're really cheap, in a pinch you can look for images of scrabble boards (http://www.englisch-hilfen.de/images/spiele/scrabble0.jpg) and letters on images.google.com and print out your own.)

Have fun with the Magic Mouse toys.

Wow, there's a Nation Scrabble Championship (http://www.scrabble-assoc.com/tourneys/2005/nsc). And I thought poker was silly. I'll stop talking now.

Poker is silly. would you really send me scrabble?

Sure.... I do have a bit of a, er, procrastination problem. Some people have been waiting, for things I intend to send, for years.

any thrift store should have a scrabble game that may or may not be missing pieces for about a buck.
