lauralhThursday after work, well, god, I can't even remember what happened. Holy shit. Oh wait. I got some albums. I mean, I ordered them off CDbaby. Jude's Sarah and Pleasurecraft's Lost Patterns. I'm loving them both, Jude is standard semi-folky with his angelic voice, but some songs have classical instruments backing him and it's just really good, although yes, very very chill.
Pleasurecraft on the other hand is like neo-New Wave, the bastard child born alive from the head of Andy Bell like Athena. My opinion anyway. I like it.
I forced Reg to watch Croupier this weekend - well, when I say "forced" I mean "he let me pick one of the movies he bought". I'd totally forgotten the ending. I mean, I knew there was some doublecross in there somewhere, but it wasn't a "heist" movie like well, Heist or The Good Thief or Ocean's ten++. Just a character study. And clive owen is gorgeous.
