This is an essay describing Southern Baptist mentality. What shocked me is not the content, because even though southern Louisiana is Catholic, I was raised Mormon and am very familiar with the "if you aren't being persecuted, you aren't being a good Christian" phenomenon. What shocked me is So Many People had to be told about it. Yeah, ignorance on BOTH sides sucks.
