Anyway it was just a dark movie (except for the gayass ending) and I was in a dark mood, so I enjoyed it. Since there were two years between the two viewings, I knew enough to keep interested but not so much as to bore me.
• Reg and I discussed Interpol's new album while listening to it. My take on it is that it's not as good as the first, specifically because every single song is identical. I mean, the tempo and singing is pretty much the same. There's nothing comparable to "PDA" or "Stella" or "Obstacle" (either) or "NYC" or "Leif Erikson"... Not that it's a bad album by any means, it's just Not As Strong.
• I finally got Reg on Pratchett. He finished The Colour Of Magic and The Light Fantastic and maybe even Mort this weekend. If he wasn't already taken, I'd totally do him.
• And I started on The Screwtape Letters. It's not exactly bedtime reading, however, so I didn't get very far. I kept having to rev my brain up a little. Pretty interesting so far, at the least very quotable.
