The Infamous Low-Carb Diet Controversy: "When you change your mind about something after writing a whole book about it, it's a pretty big reversal."

Oh, Jacko!

In addition to American Gods, I read I hate you - don't leave me about BPD. Interesting, depressing, etc. I tried to figure out how many people I knew/on LJ had it.

Does it make me a bad person if I shun everyone I know who might be crazy in any way? I'm too selfish to have BPD, bipolar, chronically depressed, or any other kind of schitzo in my life. Who needs the hassle? Besides, crazy people suck.

I own, and once lived in a "tiny house". for a year it was interesting, and girls thought it was cute. But then it slowly drove me crazy.

Ha! I'm trying to figure out if that is supposed to be an attack on me, or the amount of crazies in LA, or commentary on the number of crazy people in Seattle, or the number of crazy people in general...if everyone is crazy then nobody is really, right? If there's not a norm, there is no abnormal.

I maintain not everyone can be crazy. Maybe crazy is the new normal, which means we need a new word for the really fucked up people.

I think there are certain levels and levels, and some levels are easier to deal with than others. I agree that someone who uses insanity as an "endearing personality trait", or is addicted to drama, is not someone I can deal with, but people who are for example working on/solving their mental/personality problems are not necessarily problematic to interact with.

Your links never fail to make me giggle. Ask Laura about the lobster deal. I think she discussed at some point in the recent past the fact that lobsters have no pain receptors.
