I saw Eternal Sunshine again, it's still really really really good. Has anyone seen anything better in 2004?

Lost in Translation was at least AS good.

Season One of "24" I'd also put on the top shelf, but for different reasons.

Not to piss on your parade, but I thought it was pretentious and Clementine annoyed me. I think I'm probably one of the few people on the planet who didn't like it though.

I like pretentious movies as a rule, but I didn't get that feeling from this one. Maybe my standards are too high.

I saw Lost in Translation in 2004, in the theater.

My standards are too geeky. The last movie I loved was "American Splendor. " Anyway, I felt that the filmmakers were trying too hard to make us love these cool people and I like Jim Carrey better when he's funny (my standards may be low on this point). The fact that Clementine reminded me of this crazy woman I know in Boulder didn't help matters much. I thought the plot was very inventive though.

The second Kill Bill was unbelieveable. I liked Eternal Sunshine a lot, but Kill Bill 2 may be one of the best films I've seen in a theater.

ehhh. i didn't love it either. i coulda fucking shot all the people who hyped it up for me, as that only heightened my disappointment.

i want to see it again though, because i didn't hate it and i'm curious.

I rather re-watch "Bruce Almighty" or eat worms than see it again.
