I really want to go to the Solstice Parade Saturday. I went two years ago for the first time and it was pretty fun; normally I hate parades, as I grew up in Louisiana, but this one, well, the people marching actually looked like they were enjoying myself. For that reason, I'd also like to go to the gay pride march next week. I don't actually feel a huge connection to the homosexual agenda anymore - fag hags aren't as prevelant in cities, where gay men can just hang with other gay men - but most of the women I know are bisexual (or at least "bisexual") and quite a few men too, so there you go.

I finally met [livejournal.com profile] jameth last night. Not sure what I expected but it wasn't him. That sounds bad. He was cool, and it's good to put a face to the drama. We went to Changes for karaoke, but of course we got there so late that the lineup was already set. But when we were ready to leave, the host generously let Reg sing "Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore." It was sort of an odd "set", i mean I heard more songs I never heard before since the Spanish songs at Jalisco's. Two notables were "I heard a rumor" and "Somebody to love" (by Queen not Jefferson Airplane). Anyway the atmosphere was far more congenial than Neighbours, which is to be expected I suppose.

Tonight is [livejournal.com profile] verybadlady's birthday festivities, and then possibly Blackbelt. Or I suppose as they go on at 8 it's the other way around. Although I am going to try to talk Reg into either a) sleeping or b) going to a movie.
