lauralhDoes anyone else still think of albums of having sides? I still notice that side A and side B are often distinct in flavor on a lot of albums.
The weather is cold and grey and overcast and basically perfect, perfect, perfect Thanksgiving weather. Especially if you wear trench coats made of mohair. (Or llama hair.)
Ok, so Taj Mahal. I knew nothing except that he was a blues legend, and I have this thing where I like the blues a lot. I mean, a lot. Like, ok, I'm from Louisiana, ok? vileinfestation used to make me mix tapes, and I'd play them when I was gettin' on. It was all good.
So yeah I really enjoyed the show last night. Although it was reminiscent of going to that show in Chicago Blue, in that yes, it was great and awesome, but every single person in the audience was white. Well, what can you do, right?
I attempted to beat my allergies today by taking a sudafed 12-hr and an allevert. So far so good, except i'm slightly tweaked and thirsty. But my sneezing has come to a complete halt.
