- The Tropical flavor Emergen-C doesn't really taste very Tropical. And it's kind of a wan yellow color, and, well, um, you know. "Try not to think about it Ray."

+ Karaoke went off without a hitch. I wasn't quite in the proper frame of mind but I think I got there. Sang "Miss You Much," "Cold as Ice," and a suicide, "Music" by Madonna. At one point we were all singing along to "One" and Kaylan totally picked me up and couldn't believe how tiny I was. "I get that a lot." And as I dryly commented, I now have someone at least who'll carry me over the threshold.

= Beforehand I totally banged out about 2000 words on my novel. That's not as impressive as it sounds, but hell it's a start. I was reading this site that lists literary agencies looking for new talent, so I'm going to try to get a first chapter and a synopsis at least before Thanksgiving. And I also want to do that for the Stupid Relationship Tricks book. Which means I'm totally going to have to interview some of you. I think I may as well write the first chapter on high school dating, since that's where we start learning the tricks that hurt us later in life.

- I've been really craving salt since, um, well, since Wednesday morning when I woke up just a touch hit from drinking the previous night. Et cetera. I'll probably drink tonight, and maybe even tomorrow night. Not that I'm drinking heavily or anything, but I read up on it and two drinks a day is more than a woman should be drinking, apparently.
