look at me
Nov. 11th, 2003 11:02 amSo I can't remember why, but last night I put the radio on 101.5 (adult lite rock basically). I think I was flipping stations and heard an RHCP song. So yeah this morning it was on when I got in the car, and they played Edie Brickell and then a new Matchbox 20 song. It wasn't rawk-out but hell, I'm listening to the Cranberries and Beatles right now. And then I was on the Ballard Bridge when they played something else, and I was thinking it wasn't so bad. But then I slowed to normal speeds and, I could actually hear it. It was. So bad. I suppose I'm not yet an adult...
Drama stirred up again last week, but I think I managed to help kill it last night. Thank god. Now maybe I can work on my novel instead of bitching to people on IM.
I'm so in love with the weather again. Fall, you know. I wish it was fall forever. Although minus the daylight savings time thing. That thing is annoying, goddamn farmers and kids. If it was fall forever of course, there'd be no point. But the cloud cover here sticks the temperature in a range of about five degrees from 50 or so. Fuckin' perfect. I would so rather be unemployed in the fall than the summer.
This ad just kinda pissed me off. "Don't use drugs to numb your pain. Unless they're Pfizer-approved of course. Cough." (and i'm not just saying this b/c I used drugs to numb my pain this weekend, either...)
Speaking of drugs, I've managed to addict myself to caffeine, but I still have no tolerance. It's amazing really. I held off yesterday till 3pm though. The one problem is that my preferred method of consumption is via tea, and i bought this vanilla-caramel tea which just smells oh-so-good and I want toffee all day long.
