Good Things

My shipment of Sex Mints came in. The lousy gas station had stopped selling them, but I can get them off teh interweb for $2 apiece if I buy in bulk, which totally beats their price anyways.

Steve kicked me off the internet briefly last night so we could talk.

Yet another relationship rant. And before you ask, no, I don't see anything wrong with bashing polyamory and bashing monogamy. At least not the way I described it.

Today I am wearing shoes without laces or socks. This is a very good thing.

I had made a great 80s mix apparently. First 3 songs are "Hazy Shade of Winter," "Under the Milky Way Tonight," and "It's a Sin."

I missed the vernal equinox, but apparently the sun is fighting fiercely against it; we've had only semi-cloudy if not outright sunny days since Saturday ended.

I accidentally brought my mp3 CD with Exile in Guyville on it. That is to say, I didn't do it on purpose, but it's good.

Listening to the Bangles' cover of "Hazy Shade of Winter" is a crime.

How can you hate their version and like the Bangles'? That defies sense.

I am quite comfortable being the only person on the planet who hates Simon and Garfunkle. Your ad hominem attacks only make me stand firmer.

I don't hate Simon and Garfunkle, but I prefer the Bangles version as well. They're overrated.

$2 a mint? Good Christ. They better make you breakfast in the morning as well.

Your rants make sense. For whatever reason, they reminded me of a quote:

"There is one thing infinitely more pathetic than to have lost the woman one is in love with, and that is to have won her and found out how shallow she is." ~ O. Wilde

$2 per pack, fucknuts.

I hereby go officially on record declaring that I hate Simon & Garfunkel as well.
(It's not some warped kind of solidarity, I really hate them.)

um, "vernal" is the antonym of "autumnal".

It sounds as though you're in the Northern Hemisphere with the rest of us, so the vernal one is 6 months away...
