I saw Dirty Pretty Things last night. I compared it to an Almodovar film without the comedic sex, and whaddya know, when I got home Steve was watching Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!, which I still have to say is one of his best. It pretty much had the perfect blend. I mean I like his serious stuff too, but anyone can do serious movies dammit.
I have balanced my bank account to be about $5 by the time I get my next paycheck. I'm just living on brown rice and alcohol.
I've been meaning to see that, read some very good reviews for it. Most say that Chiwetel Ejiofor's performance is what really makes the movie. I think I will snag my dear friend freakgirl667 and see it tonight.
