hotcrab and xamichee are evil, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Who else would think that Chinese food in the I-dist would be a good idea at two in the frickin' morning? Not that I'm complaining too loudly, I still woke up on time and don't feel even all that bad. Plus, I will have no desire to eat lunch (unless coffee and cigarettes count).

We fixed our internet last night!! Anyone who's ever surfed from our house (which is like two people) know how bad our latency has been. We finally narrowed the problem down to the badly-crimped handmade ethernet cable connecting our hub to the router (or was it to the modem? i forget) and just moved the cable modem to the office, and VOILA. Up to 10x the speed we were getting before. Let this be a lesson to thee.

For those of you just joining us, hotcrab (aka Steve) is my housemate and my best friend. We manage to keep this intact by not talking much unless we're outside of the house. We usually talk about stupid crap like Strong Bad or Friends or bad movies - but we also talk about our rotten stinking love lives. But lately we've been talking business. Which is a lot less painful. I have little to no people skills for this kind of thing, where we're trying to accomodate our friends and stuff. I can be hardnosed and bottom-liney about things, but more finesse is required here.

"Computer geeks running a club night? No one will believe that!" Haha. This week we actually do have firedancers. And I think I will go ahead and get that corset. What do you wear for pants with a corset, though?

The coffee shop around the corner by work is a really cute place that even serves breakfast. Maybe someday I'll be in a mood to wake up early and eat. But not likely. I am rather incapable of eating before ten in the morning. I don't know why; even in high school I never wanted to eat breakfast. I forced myself to, but I was never in the mood.

Well, it depends! What kind of corset? Fabric? Leather? What kind of look? Goth? Romantic? Hip? What about a dress? Wearing a corset over a plain dress might look cool.

It's probably going to be Fabric/Romantic, kind of a French Impressionist's Harlot. I do have a plain black dress, I guess after I get it I'll check that out. Or at least post pics for more specific help.

With a corset:
- I like Josh's idea of the pinstripe pants - I'm thinking some sort of viscose blend with cuffs? Maybe? Worn with heels. Tight.
- Black slightly-below knee skirt with either ruffle or some sort of hem detail (beading, etc)
- Tight black pants

Regardless you need to wear heels, platforms, boots or some other sort of tall shoe.

I used to have this sort of ugly boned plaid/lace corset top (a misguided Moulin Rouge influence) that I'd wear with tight black skirt, fishnets, heels.

you don't. wear any pants that is. I suppose it depends on the surroundings and company, but I always paired a corset with some boycut panties. or hotpants. but definately go with the boots.

As far as the corset goes, I think a simple knee length black skirt is good, especially with boots.

I've never been a breakfast person either - I am never in the mood to eat in the morning and when I force myself to I end up feeling like crap.
