Spent most of the day farting around with [livejournal.com profile] xamichee, gossiping about boys, watching flicks and Strong Bad animations, eating thai food, as well as checking out pricey gothware. I need a job, I guess.

We also discussed piercings, as I'm thinking of getting one or two. I fear that I'm allergic to stainless steel, so I'm doing a patch test with one of his old rings. It might just be a nickel allergy, something fairly common.

I attempted to help him with his website, but I have not done any web crap in years and so was really no help. Oh well. Came home and watched Friends, and dorked out about our night at the Contour. Well, it's Steve's night, but I'm helping. Read some old LJ entries. Decided that Ladder Theory is also to blame for my lack of desire for standard passive geeks. Well, I suspected as much, but it's all come together in the past week. Maybe I should update the list.

Looking forward like crazy to BRMC tomorrow night. Anyone else going?

Ha, I just took my apadravya out (as you know)... no more sword! I hear allergies to medical stainless steel are rare, since it's FDA-regulated low-nickel steel.

What are you thinking of getting pierced? Nips or other ladybits?

I've never seen the Ladder Theory before. Interesting stuff, maybe I'll read it tonight. I've been on that ladder in the photo on the theory page. It's the ladder to Balcony House at Mesa Verde!!! I have a picture of it in my closet at 3 years old, and a few summers ago as well.

Yes, metal allergies are something I find interesting. I have a friend who is allergic to silver, the "werewolf allergy". It actually burns his skin...very strange.

they are indeed.

anyway apparently the pain doesn't last very long; I had my ears done ages ago with that stupid gun that hurt like hell, and steve says the professional piercing/tattoo places don't do that.
