Damn, I haven't seen nearly enough movies this year. I'll go ahead and say About a Boy, Minority Report, The Two Towers and Adaptation are my top five four. Oh, and Talk to Her, which I haven't yet seen but it's ALMODOVAR for fuckssake.

I also think that Sex and Lucia was rather um, striking. Emotionally disturbing, beautifully filmed, much like Requiem for a Dream. Except I think I might want to see the former again, whereas I never ever ever want to see that one again...

I kind of want to see Adaptation again, and I have to admit I want to see Maid in Manhattan and Frida.

Swap out Gangs of New York for Frida... you can catch the former on video.

Although, the Butcher is kind of cool... okay, only see Gangs as a matinee though.



My secret shame is that I kind of want to see Maid in Manhattan too (it's another cinderella-story/capitalist-romance).
