I went to see Insomnia last night. I have sort of mixed feelings on it. The acting was great, the direction and photography was great, the themes of guilt and light were great - but the plot itself cheezed out towards the end. It could have been better. Maybe I'd like the original better - foreign films usually don't succumb to cheeze the way American ones do.

I'd like to see the original as well. I won't see this new one, because frankly, I find it hard to take Robin Williams seriously as a spooky guy. ;)
