Reg had to get his glasses repaired - he'd been taping them up for months now - so we went back to the LensCrafters where he'd purchased them, in Northgate Mall. This is technically the nearest mall (in the sense of a bunch of indoor shops connected by indoor hallways) to us, but no one ever really goes there. Which is why I can't figure out why it's so crowded with terrible people. Ahem, I meant that most people go shopping downtown, despite the lack of covering and the rain that happens to fall in Seattle now and then. Or U-Village, which has a similar setup, and is almost as awful. Crowds are one thing, but teenagers and "white trash Mexicans" are something else, as Reg put it.

Anyway, we survived. First we fortified ourselves with fresh-made lunches, mine being Thai, his being fish&chips, halibut rather than cod. We bought ourselves a cool game that we'll bring to Xmas, and hopefully play at a game night before then as well. Then we wondered what the hell to buy Katy, Reg's sis. We stopped at a shop when I saw a shirt similar to the other shirts I've seen her wear, and looked around. I forget the name of the shop now, Pandora or something with a P, but it was sorta like H&M I guess, but just for girls. We spent about $12 on two shirts for her. Then we went to Brookstone, which is like the new Sharper Image now that Sharper Image is gone, alas alack. Reg concentrated on the hovering things, but apparently toy helicopters around $25-$125 are the hotness for Xmas 2010.

That was about all as far as shopping went, till Reg decided he wanted slippers and I decided Payless would win. And it did - we both got a pair of Airwalk slippers. We had planned to go to Archie McPhee as well, but we were both too worn out to go anywhere else but home.
