making a start

Amazingly enough, I managed to update my site last night. I suppose that means I'm "settling in," as tyson put it. The real test will be updating Backwash, my web page, and writing in the novel. I doubt I'll get that far though. We'll see. This job has a lot more actual work so far, though. Which is good in some respects but makes my audience long for me. In my mind, I mean.

I'm still way too exhausted in the mornings, though. I can't bear to eat anything before ten, so that's out. Maybe I'll just try to get to bed ridiculously early tonight. Of course, keeping this in mind I still consumed excessive caffeine amounts.

And then there's the Blue States concert tomorrow night. I really really wanna go, but that whole lack-of-sleep thing is really something I have trouble with.
