I read Ripley Underground last night, which is the second Tom Ripley novel. It was ok, not as good as the first one though. He's more established but he hasn't murdered in years, and then he has to do it again for almost no reason. The anxiety and tension isn't as pronounced though. Still, he's calm, collected, and amazingly amoral. And there's one scene where he's nearly killed and as a result buried alive.
