reg is still sick
Apr. 16th, 2006 12:50 pmWe attempted to leave the house yesterday afternoon, but the hail kind of prevented it. Oh well.
I just watched Tom Tykwer's Heaven, which is just like his other films but not. He didn't write the screenplay, but it's about a man and a woman falling in love for no good reason. Anyway it's just really quiet and still and beautiful, Italian countryside and Cate Blanchett. Perfect thing to watch when you wake up fuzzy-headed on a Sunday morning.
I made a big pot of chai halfway through, and I started the dishwasher beforehand. When I went to refill my tea, the sink was completely full of dirty water. I ran the disposal for a bit, but it barely drained, and when I turned it off, more dirty soapy water spewed from the drain. The disposal has been acting up a bit lately, and the dishwasher often causes a tiny bit of water to spew from the sink, but this was a bit ridiculous. I got all gross ferrying the water from the sink to the toilet, and when it was nearly empty, I tried the disposal. This time it spewed water OUT the sink. Pretty damn gross. I decided to give up and have Reg call the landlords tomorrow.
