welcome to my nightmare palace
Nov. 16th, 2004 08:36 amI finally found Reg's copy of Drinking, Smoking, and Screwing, and started reading it last night. Good God, that book Makes One Aroused. Ahem. Anyway.
We watched Epoch and finally first two episodes of The Office. Reg sez it's easier to watch than Six Feet Under because you don't actually care about these people being assholes to each other. Anyway, the former is this SF b-movie which is better than most b-movies, because, I decided, the actors aren't such big names that they can treat the material badly. I'm looking at you Dennis Quaid. But not you, Johnny Depp. Anyway, yeah, they took it seriously rather than treating it like camp, so it felt more like Stargate than The Day After Tomorrow. Not exactly a recommendation, but there's a sequel so it must have had some interest. Besides, Jimmy Hong is in it.
