yeah, also I have these weird beliefs. As does Jeremy. But really half the time I just say things to shock people out of complacency. Like when I say it should be ok to murder your children till they're able to read and write.

I think people shouldn't have boyfriends or girlfriends or whatever until they're able to sustain a lifestyle without one. It doesn't have to be a great lifestyle or whatever, but I had immense trouble in college dating boys who had no desire to control me, whereas the ones who did, well, our relationships were much more successful. Of course when I actually developed my own personal life outside of boyfriends, going back to these kinds of guys was social suicide. And lots of people do this in their teens and twenties, and even worse beyond it.

I think it should be legal to paintball people who break traffic laws. Their cars, rather. Fuck cops and their quotas, they just look for people with lots of different colored SPLATS on the cars, and that's who they ticket. Granted the problem would be people who paintball legally, and people who paintball just to be fuckers, but that can be arranged by licensing the paintballers. It's utterly foolish when, in theory, any idiot can remember how traffic laws work. That is, it's utterly foolish to waste police manpower on this.

Also, serious about the gun show. Even if you are a tree-hugging gun hater, don't you want to see how the other half lives?

Friday before going out, Reg and I watched Touching the Void, which is simply the best title for anything ever, at least anything that I'd possibly like, so to speak. Although I don't think I could ever watch it again, because I'm very squeamish and the movie made me really tense. People describing about the way they fractured their legs is kind of not my bag, baby.

Also I finished The Subtle Knife which I rather enjoyed more than the first book. The Will character, don't you know. He was like, real, and shit. I like that kind of thing in a character. Should be getting the third one sometime this week, hooray. Meantime I've borrowed Sarah's Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates or whatever the hell it's called. I'm not liking it as much as I liked Skinny Legs and All, because the latter was Female POV and kind of historical. Also I don't like sympathizing with pedophiles.
