I finished Generation Ecstasy a couple days ago. It was really weird, because it was finished in like 1998 or so, which is when I really got into the music. I mean, before that I was in the "scene" sort of but fuck, North Carolina is not really a happening place for electronic music. Or at least it wasn't when I lived there. I kind of want to sit down with it and Soulseek now, and download all the early pioneer shit he mentions.
