reason for glee

As I glared across the crowds of ugly* high school students, I grinned to my boyfriend and said, "Hey, isn't school starting tomorrow?"

* not that they would have been ugly if they'd been stripped down and washed, but they were just purposefully trying to make themselves look as "trendy" as possible, and I was utterly disgusted.
