Oct. 3rd, 2003 02:01 pm+ Steve and I had basically the best Peking Duck in Seattle at Shanghai Garden last night. It was super.
- But my left headlight was out, and we went on a wild goose chase for a new bulb. It turned out some of the electrical stuff was loose, so we eventually figured out how to plug it back in. Gah.
+ Met up with
kamakhai, up from Portland, for drinks at the Ballard AssAlehouse. That place is dirtass but it's well lit, so at least they're proud of it. Also the bartenders pretended to be mad at me for cursing loudly. (I was quoting Clerks. Anyway it was great times.
= It feels like we are in a cloud today; driving my windshield was full of droplets. I felt pho was in order and convinced a few people to come to lunch with me. Unfortunately they had no cash and the place didn't take credit. But come Monday I'll be flush again, mwa ha ha.
+ Oh, nice, Ephraim's spinning at Contour tonight. Anyone in Seattle who hasn't heard him (i think there might be two of you on my list) should come by, it's free for ladies before 11 and $5 for boys.
