going round

For some reason I wish I were back in Berlin.

The night we went to see the remainder of the Wall - with all the murals painted on it - it was drizzling and nasty and wet, and my shoes were not waterproof. But it was still great, we kept hopping back and forth across the border, Homer Simpson in Australia style: "Communism, Capitalism! Communism, Capitalism!" And the artwork, some of it, was amazing, and it went on for probably over half a mile. And my feet were wet and my hair was scraggly but it didn't matter.
