The sitcom was in full effect last night. I left work without my Thai food, first of all, and was resigned to a sandwich when Steve called in the middle of my karaoke practice.

i am never home anymore

On the way to Redmond, the Enterprise chick called me to make sure it was all ok, then she told me how much I owed so far. I tried not to gasp but I told them I'd be in today to get the cheaper car and slash the extra coverage. I mean I was all nervous about just wrecking a car last week but now I feel better, and broker. It's going to be at least one more week before my car is fixx0red, so I got rid of the Sentra and now have a Hyundai Elantra. With no CD player. Mix tape party at my place, yo.

Karoake last night, ostensibly titled "spank-a-roke", should have totally been called "emo-roke." Man. We were all feeling a bit shagged and fagged. Even the waitress seemed down. Oh well. I sang "Don't Turn Around," "The Tide Is High," "Tainted Love," and "Another Night" (with Steve).
