* Steve and I watched The Mack the other night. That's a pretty entertaining movie, but after seeing like, American Pimp or Pimps Up, Ho's Down, it seemed really goddamned sanitized. I mean, ok, the moral was if you're a pimp who loves yo' momma, a cop is gonna kill her. or something...

* We also watched The Hudsucker Proxy. He'd never seen it. God, I love that whole 50s gotham sensibility that overpowers the movie. It's a standard Coen thing where the characters are just, well, characters, not actual people, but with the City as Character too, it blends in really well, as The South did in O Brother.

* I'm on a ridiculous ranch dressing kick. I don't even get why, it's like I'm a Seinfeld character. Steve was mocking me, saying that my food was merely a ranch dressing delivery system. For dinner I had a carrot and ranch dressing. (And leftover Thai food.)
