weekend

Fairly quiet here. I went to bed before 1am almost every night. Went to the gym, hung out with xamichee and goldfischegirl, finished Steve's Economist and Ramp and told other people about the contents, had the worst canolli of my life, almost sort of had a fight, but not really, and installed FreeBSD on the new box. Also, watched an episode of Insomniac (pretty good) and an episode of Law and Order (sucked, of course). I don't get the attraction to Law and Order. This was the criminal investigation version, which admittedly isn't as sucky as the purely courtroom one, but still about on par as a poor episode of Buffy. Or not even, as there was no humor whatsoever. And no investment in the characters, even the main officers just seemed plastic.

And also The Truth About Charlie, which is a remake of an actually good film Charade, but um. Demme is a hot director for sure, but the script rewrite was just a bit... blah. Fell asleep during part of it. Didn't fall asleep rewatching So I Married an Axe Murderer though. Because that movie ROX.
