The good news: My cough has ceased.
The bad news: By some miracle of anti-gravity, the phlegm in my lungs has travelled, despite all expectations, up my trachea into my head, filling all sinus cavities. The only escape is through my nose. Or perhaps through trepanning.
Saw RJD2 and Prefuse 73 last night. Although I use "saw" in the loosest possible sense of the word, as the Chop Suey was so crowded we were all the way in the back. Which was fine, as we got to sit and talk to people. One guy tried to chat me up, but it was clear that he'd "typed" me as a cynical anti-scenester Capitol-Hill hata. Which, ok, is true, but it's not like I take hatin' all that seriously, either. So he just kept talking about how all the people at the show sucked, and how he hated Capitol Hill, and how he was just a cynical bastard. And me, I have to make fun of everyone, so I asked (a la Fight Club) "How's that working out for you?" Which took him aback. He answered, though, and then I never saw him again.
