the "security checkpoints" at the airports are laughable, at least at Sea-Tac; they made you stop, made sure you were white I guess, then waved you through after two seconds of looking from a yard away.
two phone interviews today, first one was a cinch, second one probably will be harder, since that's the job I want. well, we'll see.
there was some wacked-out shit on 99 coming back from the airport this morning. Took over an hour for them to clear out the (I suppose) accident, but then the 7 cops decided it would be a great idea to stay blocking the left lane with 4 cars while they stared at the damaged railing. I hope that it wasn't an accident, because DAMN how hard would a car have to hit the concrete/girder railing and bust it up?
Someone thought it would be a good idea to kiss 26 people during my party. Well, for me to, at any rate. Actually got up to 30 when some people complained about missing out. That's what tequila does to you, I guess. Hope I don't get mono.
Kid Koala tomorrow night, Sharpshooters Friday, and oooh, Soundtrack of Our Lives in a couple of weeks.
Last night Steve decided he wanted a copy of The Rules so we hit the UVillage B&N. On the opposite side of the Relationship section is the Sex section, and I saw some semi-handsome loser perusing the books, trying to look inconspicuous. I loudly said "What the hell is the point of having a book tell you how to give your girl an orgasm? It's like those damn Objectivists, you know? They need a book like that, Ayn Rand's Guide to Sex or something." I hope I embarassed him.
It was kind of fun hanging out with Erik again. Although I still haven't completely weighed which roommate is better. Also he and Steve and Jim are incredible dorks together, my ovaries were totally dessicating when they were going on and on about video games and shit. But yeah, he came to the party then came back the next day to just chill out. It was pretty cool.
