It's another cold bright sunny day. I think I have a cold, so I don't really want to go out and "enjoy" the weather. I did yesterday, though. To a certain extent. I walked to the library and picked out some books, as part of my new resolve to um, read more. I like reading more than almost anything else than I do, but it's a fairly anti-social activity in some ways. (Unless you think hanging out with book characters is being social. Which I haven't thought in decades.) Nonetheless it's a decision I feel good about. Take care of the friends that are already here, that matter, and spend the rest of time reading.

never feel this way again

Steve bought me KFC for dinner. I had sort of eaten already but who can refuse deep-fried poultry and mashed potatoes? We ate it while watching Buffy. Steve is kinda getting into it, although he still needs me to explain everything to him. Who'd have thought a couple years ago that I'd be the one explaining to people the Buffy backstory, eh? Anyway I loaned him my camera for his NY visit, and then he left his damn cell phone here.

edit: saw all of Barcelona at last earlier today. I liked it, despite others' claims that "it sucked." Basically it's just a bunch of pretty people being witty, what's not to like, right?
