I have to admit
Jun. 3rd, 2002 12:16 pmThat every time I hear a mobile phone ring in our office, it bugs the living crap out of me. "Put the phone on vibrate!" Really man. Of course the only reason I do it is so that I'll actually answer the phone - otherwise my music tends to be too damn loud for me to hear the ring. It has little to do with consideration for my officemates, so I suppose I should forgive them for the same.
Nah, fuck that.
Except for my car, all my recurring debts are payable online. Very nice. I just need to get my housemates on PayPal and everything will be set. It's just too easy to spend money on the 'net, though. I almost bought a wireless ethernet card for my PDA, but Steve convinced me that a wine rack was a better purchase. So in a week or so we'll have a wine rack.
I watched Charade this weekend, a pretty cute Audrey Hepburn movie. It kind of reminded me of, um, Heist? David Mamet's latest, forget the name. But there's lots of switcheroos and mistaken identities, and even murder, which is not something I expected in an Audrey Hepburn movie. But the requisite witty urbane humor was in there. All in all a pretty good movie, of the type that they don't really make anymore.
