the worst feeling in the world

You wake up way too early because you have to pee - but you're so warm in bed, and the air just touching your nose is so cold, that you know the bathroom is going to be even colder.

So you push yourself to turn up the heating and then go back to sleep. And you do. And then you start dreaming about having to pee - looking and looking for toilets. The only ones you find are in a big communal hippie bathroom, where you have to squat.

And just as you're about to unzip, the villain from Act I of your dream comes back and starts making small talk with you. ARGH!!!

For some reason I really like rockin' chicks singing the word "restaurant." I only have 2 songs ("I Died" and "Letter From an Occupant") but the bit where they say "RESS-te-runt" is just cool. I need more songs like that.

Man, I'm just cranking it out. Another thousand words felt like five hundred. Probably because it was mostly dialogue. I loves me some dialogue.

The one problem with writing different things at once is that it's a bit harder to get into the mentality of the work. BGtWB has a totally different feel than TCM, and it's a bit hard to switch gears, not only from the feel of the piece, but the format. I'm getting into it though. Oh yes.

I finally watched the commentary and Making Of featurette for Hedwig today. All the people in that movie are so hot with the dyed black hair they sport, mm mm mm. I love how they mentioned John Cameron Mitchell's totally adrogynous body being so perfect for female fashion, heh. Oh, and his army dad, so obviously trying to be open-minded about his son, and loving his success, but just sort of wishing he'd settle down, despite knowing it would never happen. Interesting to find out that the character of Hedwig was based on a divorced German army spouse turning tricks in the trailer park, too.
