i'm not dead, i'm just resting.
Jan. 2nd, 2002 05:05 pmWell, my first day of cross-country skiing didn't kill me, thankfully. I only fell four times (which is less than almost all the rest of 'em), and I pretty much have the hang of it all.
Stalking information. We have a cabin here, and it's absolutely beautiful up in the mountains. Not too cold either - just about at freezing. I've been sweating profusely during the skiing, but fortunately nylon underclothes help. (Poor Nick just brought cotton t-shirts, so when we got back he was totally soaked.)
Dial-up sucks, but it's better than nothing. I'll be checking mail and stuff once a day, probably. Right now everyone's at the grocery store (our cabin has a kitchen), so I don't have to feel antisocial. I do keep forgetting that no wireless=no surfing on the toilet, though.
