I was finally reminded that the Out of Sight soundtrack is totally dope, and a must-have, so I queued up a download. Hot Damn.
Went to see In the Bedroom today. I thought it was pretty good, except I'm starting to notice that there's an Indy Movie Formula which it followed. Basically everything is OK in the first act, and it ends with some kind of bombshell, then the second act is coping with that bombshell, and then the third act begins with a bunch of yelling which culminates into another bombshell, and then the movie ends with everything winding down, more or less. (As opposed to French Films, which basically stop before the "third act.")
But anyway. The acting was good. I mean great. I would have cut out a bit of the middle, but otherwise it was good, just, as I said, a wee bit predictable. Not that you knew what was going to happen, just when. The ending helped bring it from two stars to three, I guess you could say.
