Dec. 15th, 2010 01:05 pm• Played the game we bought, where you make up the ending of a wise old saying. Doesn't work really well with three people, since one is true and the other two are false. You're supposed to announce your choice out loud, and unless you chose your own, well, the other person will guess the same thing you will. We fixed this by guessing via writing. Planning to bring the game to Xmas.
• Cracked a filling while at the mall last week; finally got to a dentist yesterday. But of course that was just for x-rays. My actual appointment is Jan 4th. Apparently fillings fail after 20 years, who knew? Most of mine are high-school era and haven't prevented new cavities. Anyway, getting the molar yanked and a few others filled the same day.
• Attempted to make eclairs on Saturday. Worked pretty well, except it's impossible to fill them up without a pastry frosting bag. Ah well, they tasted just as good cut in half.
