Our north-facing neighbors have big dogs that bark kinda like little dogs, all day, and most of the evening. Even if they are home, but especially if they aren't home. I don't exactly want to call up Animal Control, but it's at the point where I'm welcoming construction on the lot over b/c it covers up the shrillness of the barks. Needless to say this is worse on hot days when we have to open the windows, but it's annoying at all times. These are the same neighbors that had overhanging trees over our apt's parking lot, which was finally taken care of by city workers with chainsaws; if only those same workers could handle the dogs. No seriously, I don't like the idea of animals who don't really know better getting hurt b/c their owners are too stupid to get them properly trained, but poison meat is looking better and better every weekend.
