I thought this was one of the worst documentaries I've ever seen. awful camera closeups and bad edits, too many law enforcement talking heads (oh, you have a task force on meth? how interesting. please talk about it for 5 minutes). all the addicts they interview are already in treatment or not using, and could they not find one picture of an exploded meth lab to include? because if you want to show the impact of meth on communities, that's more visceral than some white trash dude getting treatment talking about how meth is bad.
and were the couple in the trailor actors? because it was sure interesting how during their "spontaneous" fight, they seemed to be wearing clip mikes, since a boom mike would have picked up the screaming children 5 feet away. My bullshit detector went off so many times in this film, it actually pissed me off that they'd gotten funding for it. Also, it made me want some meth.
