One of my Xmas Gifts was a Kitchen-Aid mixer. I don't want to get any attachments yet, so what can I do besides pie crusts and bread kneading?

It's good for whipping cream, making meringue, making mayonaise/hollandaise/aioli.

Cookie dough. Meringue. Whipped cream (watch it, or it will be butter). Herb butters.

(I forgot about the mayonnaise.)

It is mostly great for stiff doughs or bread kneading.

icing (i'm assuming you've got a whisk attachment at least, right?) and cake, non? speaking of cake, cookies. dick-shaped cookies. using marijuana butter. (tell me that dosing unsuspecting friends that wouldn't mind wouldn't be the world's greatest fucking april fool's day prank).

Anything that you would use a hand mixer for, except it makes it way better, for me, cookies get done in half the time OH and angel food cake, makes it much easier to whip the whites. I love mine and use it all the time, though I almost never use my handmixer anymore.
