I first tried the milk, then I had the brilliant idea of washing the case thoroughly with soap and water. This morning the contact is bearable, although still a wee bit noticeably warm.

The boyfriend mentioned using the liquid you use to wash your dishes as opposed to regular soap as it has more things to dissolve oil. I didn't recommend this for the contacts because I assumed it would be too harsh.

Yeah, i just used handwashing soap on the case.
