i believe the TOS special would have been moderately successful, at the very least. there are a lot of nerds out there. or, in here, as the case may be.
and XMAS with THE NUGE - if i'd heard about that in another context, i totally would have thought it was real. i mean, vh1 gave him his own reality show - this isn't that far off.
