wheel of time dorkery!

I don't get why he didn't write this way the previous books. Mat got married, it took 3 books for this and hell close to ten years for his resolution, more or less. Everyone except Elayne was great, well the Semirhage thing was anti-climactic, but at least she killed a bunch of people first. And they FIGURED OUT HALIMA IS EVIL. OK, not as much happened as I hoped, but at least things seem to be progressing instead of going in circles. And lots of stuff did get resolved, Perrin and Faile are back together, the Shaido are gone, Rand's hand is gone, Aram is gone, Galina is gone, Suroth is gone... not bad. And it didn't make me snivel as I went to bed. (Despite all its other flaws, The Path of Daggers is something I cannot read again mainly b/c it creeps me out too much.)

I read this,and now I have a head full of spoilers to throw at Josh, should he act like an asshole in the next week, before the book arrives and he plows through it. I haven't read any of them, but he capsulized each (as much as is possible) while rereading the entire series before reading Crossroads of Twilight.

Freshman year of college a boyfriend bought me Shadow Rising. I read it and was utterly confused, but kinda liked it. I read it again two years later and was like "WOW OMG WHAT NOW" and bought the first three books. Then the next three.
