If I wanted

• Margaritas
• tacos
• on a patio

where should I go?

edit: don't say El Camino, I don't have the budget for them after rent.

edit: WOW everyone loves agua verde. I went there once, waited for an hour to be seated, had a mediocre taco after another hour... and plus it's way out of the way.

Not my favorite place, but Mama's qualifies.

Tia Lou's:
roof deck - check
tacos - check (but not show stopping)
margaritas - check (see above comment)

not the greatest food, but the deck is awesome, and things are cheap during happy hour.

Agua Verde in the U District.

The quality is not so great, but I've had a few good times at Torrero's above the broadway market. They have all three of your requirements, and they also serve giant margaritas.

I'll just take this suggestions back, because agua verde and tia lou's are much better options.

There's Tia Lou's in the 2200 block of first with an upstairs patio, though on friday night it turns into serious hoochieville. There's also Agua Verde on the montlake cut, in the udistrict, probably your best bet though it gets crowded.

Definatly Agua Verde. You can even rent kyaks downstairs. I highly recommend the fish tacos. Way better than pretty much anywhere, and also a beautiful deck.

How is that place? I haunt the Zag a lot, but I've eyeballed that place a lot.

I used to eat there all the time when I was living in Belltown. The best mexican is ghetto mexican.

Tia Lou's would also work.

I HATE FISH TACOS

It's not even ghetto mexican though, they just have a big vat in the back that says "mexican food" on the side, and regardless of what you order they stick your plate under the spout and out blorps some mexi-mash. It's wal-mex. If you want ghetto mexican hit up one of the many taco trucks that patrol our fair city (the one at the north end of the ballard bridge is exceptional).

The food is bland and greasy, and the margaritas at happy hour are pretty weak, but I keep going back. So yeah, I like it too.

Dude, come have happy hour with me at Nectar! There's a patio at least and I'm pretty sure they have margaritas but I wouldn't stake my life on it. There's $3 appetizers and $5 pizzas and you get the pleasure of my company

Fair enough. For the record, I've eaten the a few times and have never had a problem with the service there. Perhaps they were having an off night/day/whatever.

If Guaymas (http://seattle.citysearch.com/profile/41111932/seattle_wa/taqueria_guaymas.html) had a liquor license it would be OH SO FUCKING PERFECT

I've been to Guaymas one time and it was so so so disgusting and the salsa bar was full of flies. It was the Capitol Hill one, though, which probably isn't a fair representation. It was still enough to scar me.
