We went to Spiderman 2 last night. The first twenty minutes were utterly painful, but it got better. Strangely enough I kept thinking of Evil Dead 2 - oh wait, that's not strange, that was deliberate. I meant I kept thinking of SUPERMAN 2, with the losing powers for the girl thing. Anyway there were some parts that were cornball drama cheese but the cornball horror cheese made up for it. And the human element is good, this is the reason people liked Spiderman. Because he was just a guy with an overdeveloped sense of vengence duty. And spider-powers.

I loved the whole thing. But I have heard from multiple people that the opening and part of the middle were a bore. I'm just a biased comic-collector.

I think this is possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. CrazyB got upset with me because I couldn't stop badgering. Holy crap, I think I was nice; this movie deserved much worse anti-social behavior!

People like Spider-Man because he is a nerd that got tha hottie (two if you count Gwen, but the movies fucked that up). Unlike that jock Superman, or rich boy Batman.
