That's a former apartment building of mine, as well. Both the neighbors and the elevator were rather... interesting.

i used to live in 505. yeah, some of the neighbors were a bit odd.

I got the shit shocked out of me by touching the wrong part of that elevator once. then they rebuilt & modernized it last fall, which was cool, except they took like 3 months to do it. I got used to the stairs.

The stairs, which, incidentally have (or had) no emergency lighting. Which sucks if, for example, there is a giant earthquake on the day you decide to move out, meaning you get to carry all your stuff down four flights in pitch darkness.
