hangover edition

HAHAHAHAH erp. Sorry. People take things too seriously.

Something less funny, but in a GOOD way.

Saddam's fall causes terrorist cash shortage.

ha, I'd heard this before, but not in a while.

This is totally an urban legend, right?

Everyone loves Moulin Rouge, man. Which is going to be a good thing for us. Mwa ha ha ha.

I've been partying a little hard the past few days, but, on the other hand, it's the weekend.* Going to Sutekh/Safety Scissors tonight, continuing the trend and all. Everyone is going to be there apparently.

*apparently weekends now start on thursday

Huang killed himself by burning charcoal in his bedroom on Monday night

This is lethal?

[identity profile] herbaliser.livejournal.com 2003-07-19 01:17 pm (UTC)(link)
carbon monoxide poisoning?

[identity profile] cynica.livejournal.com 2003-07-19 01:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I've never heard of it being done through that method, though.

Since I've already become captain of the Stupid Train here, doesn't that make cooking with charcoal dangerous if the smoke from the charcoal goes straight up into your food?

Maybe I'm missing a fundamental concept here.

unless you're breathing through your food exclusively, no this is not lethal. it was lethal for him for the same reasons that running a car in a closed garage is lethal. if you were to cook with a barbeque indoors, it would also (likely) be lethal.

THAT may be an urban legend, but things like that do happen... a friend of mine has some kanji tattoos, and he recently learned that one that was supposed to say "life" really said "kitchen" or some such thing.

at first i thought that the tatoo guy was pretty fucked up. but then, if you're going to get something permanent tattooed on your body you should at least do the research to find the characters yourself.

i think there were t-shirts with kanji's like that too at some point.

the general tso's chicken tatoo is hilarious.

ooh, and i love general tso's

You sure its an urban legend?

How can you tell its an urban legend? Can anyone here read mandarin to verify what that says on her shoulder?

And where'd you get that link?

not really sure
