I watched Blade last night in preparation for the netflix.aquisition of Blade 2. I'm kind of glad that I got into Buffy before watching Blade, because while crossing the mythos confused me, the ultra-violence was not as big of a deal. Really I enjoyed it a great deal, in that comic-book-y Matrix vein. It wasn't quite as well done WRT production values, but close, and the plot actually made more sense. And there was a lot of cool ass-kicking. Wesley Snipes as Keanu Reeves, to go back to the Matrix references.

My friend Ana sent me a mix CD, after talking trash about it for weeks. It pretty much rules so far: Leftfield, Everlast, Machine Gun Fellatio, Pixies, Magnetic Fields... I love that girl.
