Today Reg and I saw The New World. It was pretty and calming and evocative and basically the best movie I've seen in probably a year.

edit: Holy shit, they actually reconstructed the native language of the area for the film!

Whoa! We watched "Equilibrium" last night. I'm on a Christian Bale kick right now... Maybe we'll check that out.

I saw The New World yesterday. I loved how it was really quiet in alot of places and used natural sounds in the place of music for many scenes. I actually used the word calming to describe it to someone too. it was nice.
