We are gathered here today
to mourn the passing of a great American
A man who, though he never tired of the rat race
was one of the softest and most gentle of creatures
Who drank of the water of Life
and ate of the food of God
A most industrious man
who chewed through the toughest problems
and whose energy and vigor were legendary
God rest his soul
Now, although we do not wish to speak ill of the dead
this man did have a few secrets
and he had no reservations
about displaying them in public
Yes, people, this was a true Ass Pirate
Friday night would find him in leather
Posterior raised up in the air
Waiting for some Black Dick
Black Gerbil Dick, that is.
But he was not ashamed and he said unto the LORD,
"LORD, I am not ashamed.
You have built me a wonderful palace
And you have kept my home safe, and warm
And lo, you have bestowed unto me great blessings
Particularly the fine round ass of this black gerbil
And for these gifts, I thank you, O LORD."
But the seasons change
and Father Time waits for no man, beast, or fowl.
Mountains are washed into the sea
And the mightly Oak
becomes a shelter for the lowly beaver.
And so, friends, all things come to an end.
We celebrate the joyous life and unending cheer
The Brown Gerbil brought us
But even the strongest man
cannot resist the call of the LORD;
And like Jim Fixx,
the running guru who died while jogging,
The Brown Gerbil met fate on the stainless steel
wheel.
So let us join in prayer for the soul of this rodent
And let us shout "Hallelujah"
Because the Kingdom of God
Is a Joyful Kingdom
And through Him all things were made
So let us Lift Up! Raise Up!
And Praise God for one more day that we may ALL
Run in our own wheels
And drink from our own water bottles
And eat of our own birdseed.
Yes, let us give THANKS!
For the great God in Heaven above has BLESSED us!
And He LOVES us!
And He is busting a nut with the brown gerbil in his
ass right NOW!
